Comenius -Sports Day in Ireland

We had a wonderful day in school last week
Firstly all the classes gave presentations they made on each country, to the parents, and parents sampled food from each country, cooked by the children from the recipe book.

Then the children were all divided into teams representing each of  our Comenius countries.
The countries paraded before the sports, then they competed in many different races and sports.

The Romanian team were the eventual winners, well done.

 It was all great fun.

What a wonderful time we had last week when the TED family came to Enniscorthy. All the pupils and teachers  really enjoyed having our guests visit our school.

The children performed "A Christmas Story" in Monageer hall, it was a great performance.

All the classes welcomed the European teachers into the classrooms

5th and 6th classes  demonstrated and taught our guests hurling skills

and some Irish dances

We had 4 wonderful days with our European partners. Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories
